Unity 4.2 (1) and Windows 2008 or Windows 2008 R2 DC

I currently have a site where we are running Unity 4.2 (1), exchange 2003 and windows 2003 domain controllers.  I am wanting to upgrade to 2008 R2 or Windows 2008 domain controllers. I haven't found any thing saying it will work.  I did find some info on Unity 5.0 and it sound like it works with a patch put on the 2008 DC's.    Anyone using this configuration.

For this you can check the system requirements doument. For 4.2(1) we support 2000 and 2003. Starting 5.0(1) support for 2008 and 2008 R2 was introduced.So you would need to upgrade Unity to a higher version (7.0(2) or higher as 5.x is end of sale), something you may want to consider regardless as Unity 4.x will be end of support in about 5 months.
