Unity 7.X and Active Directory

Hello, i want your help about Cisco Unity 7.X

First, this version of Unity 7.x Supports Microsoft Active Directory (Application Mode)

Second, My Client wants that i explain him, why do we need to extend the schema of the active directory for the integration with cisco Unity.
