Unity 7.X integrated to Exchange 2007 (Remove public folders)

I have a customer who would like to remove Exchange public folders for additional security. There is detail on how to restore public folders but I cant find much detail on what Unity uses them for.

Can they remove public folders in Exchange 2007 and retain Unity UM?

Hi Luke -

You will not find anyone at Cisco to create a fix for this.  Unity 7.X is end of life, end of sale.   It would be recommended to change to Unity Connection.
