Unity Connection and Exchange 2010 to 2016 upgrade

Hello Team,

I have a customer who is currently running CUCM 10.5.2.12900-14 and CUC 10.5.2.10000-5. CUC is integrated with Exchange 2010 for UM single inbox.

The customer is upgrading the Exchange to 2016.

I would to know if anyone has documentation on this and also what are the requirements.

You need to be on the latest SUs to have 2016 support, and you can refer to the regular SIB/UM guides for this.

Thank you for your assistance.
I have another request, the new Exchange 2016 will have a new server name which is different from the one on the current 2010 Exchange. I would like to confirm that all I need to do is to integrate/add the new Exchange server in CUCxn as a second single in box server.

Yes, you can have multiple integrations.

Hi Jaime,
Is it possible to just change the current Exchange 2010 name in the Smart host configuration and the IP address in SMTP configuration to the new name and IP address of the new Exchange 2016 server.
