I had a similar issue with a customer, we used a translation pattern to translate the calling party before the call goes into unity connection.

Eg. if your extension number is 100 and you create a calling party translation mask of 5XXX, unity connection would see the incoming number as 5100.

I think you could also use the 'Voice Mail Box Mask' so just create a new voicemail profile for users with the overlapping range, this would achieve the same thing as the translation mask.

Hope that helps!

Dear matty,

I had a similar issue with a customer, we used a translation pattern to translate the calling party before the call goes into unity connection.

I have created a translation pattern so that whenever a user dial from HO to DR i have a acces code 8 + EXT and from DR to HO 7 + EXT.

I think you could also use the 'Voice Mail Box Mask' so just create a new voicemail profile for users with the overlapping range, this would achieve the same thing as the translation mask.

so from you reply what i understand is for DR users create a voicemail profile with prefix added extension. for  Example : so in call manager the DR user extension will be 111 but in unity connection  user profile extension should be configured by 7111

please correct??

Sorry for the delay I have been away!

Yes the over lapping extensions would be 111, so for your DR users if you want to prefix with 7 then the extension number in unity connection should be 7111.

Hope you manage to get it fixed!
