Unity Connection send attachment

We have cucm and Unity Connections 10.5.2 and the user wants email notification in outlook client with the Vmail wav attachment sent.

They do not want unified messaging.

I have created the SMTP element and HTML settings as per doc. but the attachment never arrives, The emil notification arrives ok, but no attachment.

I have set the system to no authentication so the user doesn't have to put any credentials in.

Can you check and verify that the SMTP Domain on the Unity Connection matches the Exchange Environment.  Also the primary SMTP address on the each user matches the SMTP address in Exchange as this would enable users to freely reply/forward attachments.

Hi, I checked the SMTP domain name on the unity connections server. This is displaying the default

host name and domain name that the Unityconnections server is set to. e,g unitycon01.abc.com

the exchange environment is also abc.com, so a users email address would be user1@abc.com

When I check the user SMTP address setting it shows  user1@unitycon01.abc.com

Is this correct?
