Unity Connection Upgrade licensing question

We are a Cisco EA customer and are currently planning to build out a new cluster for Unity connection on 11.5SU3 and migrate the database from the current 10.5 cluster. We are doing this to gain a bigger spec Unity Connection that could handle more users. So, this will be a parallel upgrade. The Call-manager will still remain on the 10.5.2 version. I am not so clear on the licensing piece being an EA customer and how that works? We have a PLM running 10.5 supporting CUCM and Unity Connection as of now. Both the clusters will be running in parallel until i migrate everything over. I have done similar set-ups with CUCM and UCCX where i would have licenses re-hosted and would allow me to run two clusters in parallel and buy me some time to retire the old cluster. Does it work the same way for Unity Connection as well? Has anybody gone through this process being an ELA customer? Looks like PLM 10.5 will support 11.x licenses as long as we upload we install a 11.x license define file.
