unity connection user language greetings

unity connection 7x during user enrollment users are being asked what langua

ge they would like to record their persnal greeting in. Is there a way of stopping this prompt - we only want to use the default language?

There are two language settings for users - one that sets the language they hear when they call to check messages and one for the language outside callers hear when they reach that users' mailbox.  By default that second language is set to "inherited" which means whatever language the caller is set to at the time they reach the box will be the language that  caller hears (including the language of the greeting played).

If you set that language to, say "US English" instead of inherited then subscribers will no longer hear that prompt - it'll assume US English greetings only.

Have you managed to resolve this as I have exactly the same problem, even with the UK English Language selected.

Changed the language from inherited to the specific language and this worked for us.
