Unity Express - recorded message problem

Hi,

When lisetening to a recorded message, the CUE cuts through after only 5 to 30 sec, even though the max message size is set to 120 sec. Has anyone experienced this before?

Appreciate all the help I can get.

Is CUE integrated with CME or CCM? This is a common issue when there calling side does not have silence suppression (vad) disabled. So for CME, you would have to have a dial-peer to CUE with 'no vad'. If the call is being originated from another router via H323, then that dial-peer would also need to have 'no vad' configured.

I am having the same problem but with a CCM integration. How can I disable VAD for the jtapi logins, since it does not use a dial peer in this case?

Is the issue happening for all calls or just from a certain gateway inbound? First I would disable Silence Suppression system-wide from the Callmanager service parameters (for each CCM node). Then, if the problem is just happening, for example, on calls coming in via an H323 gateway, then on that gateway, disable VAD on the dial-peer pointing to the CallManager.
