Unity Express - Working in general but visual voicemail playback is broken

I have managed to get Unity Express 8.6.12 running on an SM-SRE-910-KM installed in a 3945e. Most all of the functionality is working as it should - GUI is accessible and works, communication between CUE and CUCME is fine, calls to my test extension correctly forward to voicemail and the MWI indicator works as it should. I can log in via dial in and interact normally with the voicemail system.

 

My one remaining observed issue, which I have not been able to resolve, is:

 

When logging into visual voicemail via the "Services" button, I am able to see the messages, select them, etc, but attempting to play them results in "Playback failed - unknown error code (0)"

 

The phone being used to test this is a 7975.

 

Any suggestions or assistance troubleshooting this issue would be most appreciated. Configs available and I am willing to supply whatever debug / trace information may be required.
