Unity Licensing Help- Upgraded 4.2 to 5.0 add mailboxes?

We have just upgraded our Unity 4.2 to 5.0 We had 1800 existing subscriber mailboxes.

The License UNITY5.X-VMUSR-VUP: Qty: 2400

Does anyone know how to add 600 more voicemail only mailboxes?

Do we order 4.2 Mail Boxes since we are entitled to up to 2400?

If anyone has been through this, any help would be appreciated

You will need to order 5.x licenses as 4.x licenses will not work on Unity 5.x

If they are in your smartnet contract, you can use the PAK keys, aquire the license, then send it back to licensing@cisco.com and they should be able to convert the 4.x to 5.x no problem. Your entitlement allows you to upgrade, even though you didnt technically you use them. If the subscribers are NOT on your smartnet Contract, you have (2) choices.

- purchase new 5.x licenses

- if your smartnet contract has expired, renew your smartnet contract for the 4.x license, then you are entitled for 5.x upgrades to those subscribers.

Any upgrade from 4.x .5.x that is covered by smartnet will entitle you to upgrades. (if in your contract of course)

Licensing is a pain the arse. If you have more questions, i would contact your local cisco rep and have them pull up all the info on your contracts, licenses, etc.
