Unity MWI - can it light an external indicator light other than a phone?

We have an IPCC agent group that has occasional calls go to Voice Mail after queueing. The Supervisor would like to have a wall mounted indicator light that lights when there are message in their Unity Mail Box. Right now we have the system lighting the maximum (10)agents phone, but they are looking for a better solution.

As for light, you could be MacGyver and take a 7940, pull it apart and mount the light or extend the light to a common area. Don't laugh.. I have scene it done with the speaker on on 7940 and they amplified it to created an overhead paging system with it. So I would imagine, if you want to extend the "blinking light" somewhere... go for it. fun project!

Don't think it's covered by SmartNet after you tear into a phone though.. ;)

This site has some external MWI devices, I haven't used any of them, but I have heard they work pretty well.
