Hi,
I am using Unity 4.0(2) integrated with CCM 3.3(2) and Exchange 2000 server (outboxed).
Problem is that I need to change the behaviour of calls when we dial any subscriber. If that subscriber is busy then it should prompt for busy message and if subscriber is away then it should prompt for away message.
For this I disabled the call waiting option from CCM and changed the greeting files of unity prompts which are located at following folder.
E:\CommServer\Localize\Prompts\ENU\G711\AvPHGreet
In this folder I did following
For Away option, I replaced AvPHGreetENU019 file with AvPHGreetENU013
For busy option I used AvPHGreetENU020 and set the source as system greeting for busy mode in greetings settings of subscriber.
Now problem arise, after this exercise some of my subscriber's recorded greetings are deleted.
Q.1) How to recover my subscrber deleted greetings
Q.2) Where subscriber recorded greetings reside in Unity machine.

First, copying prompts around like that to change the covnersation behavior is not supported - for good reason.
Second, the greetings didn't dissapear - you told Unity to use the system greeting instead of the recorded greeting - so that's what we're doing. We're not going to delete the greetings unless you went into SQL and removed the StreamPath property off the messaging rule (greeting rule) - otherwise any custom greetings remain where they're at and if you switch back to the custom recorded greeting option it will be there.
all greetings and voice names are stored in \commserver\stream files\.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
First,The recorded greetings of more than 10 subscribers are not in this folder
Second,I confirmed that in source of busy or standard greeting I selected recording option. I am explaining it in detail below.
If I record my busy or away greetings, it plays still the System Greetings at calling that extension instead of playing my Recorded Greeting. I set my Greetings as
For Away option
Type: Standard
Status: Enabled and grayed out (means this Enabled option cannot be changed).
Source: Recording and here I recorded my away greeting.
For Busy Option
Type: Standard
Status: Enabled
Source: Recording and here I recorded my busy greeting.
Note: As you told that those deleted greetings should reside in \commserver\stream files folder but I didn't found them there and also didn't find them at subscriber's greeting page. The play menu of media bar is disabled in recording bar also.
Regard
Salman

Unless you guys hacked up the registry, all greetings and voice names go into \commserver\stream files\. If they aren't going there and you didn't monkey in the registry then they probably aren't getting recorded in the first place. This would probably also explain whey they aren't being played to you and why the system greetings are playing instead (if Unity can't find the stream file in question it will fall back on the system greeting instead).
but just based on your description there's not much I can speculate on as to what's going on or what you've done to your box. On a standard install that has not been modified, all greetings always go into \commserver\stream files\ - no exceptions.
you'll probably need to open a TAC case and have someone look in your box (they may ask you to put your system back to defaults in the process). someone is going to need to take a look in your DB and registry settings and run some tests to figure out what's going on at this point.
