Unity voice mail user default password

Hi,

I would like to ask a question on the default password for Unity/Unity connection voice mail user.

Which parameter to check the default password for new voice mail user that set in the configuration ?

Hi Alan,

For Unity Connection the default password for users is setup in the VM Template that is used to create new users

Do the following procedure for user accounts, or for a template that you will use to create user accounts.

To Change a Phone (PIN) Password for an Individual User or Template

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1 In Cisco Unity Connection Administration, find the template that you want to edit.

Step 2 On the Edit menu, click Change Password.

Step 3 In the Choose Password list, click Voice Mail.

Step 4 In the Password field, enter the new password.

Step 5 In the Confirm Password field, reenter the password to confirm.

Step 6 Click Save.

Then check the option " User Must Change at Next Login" to force them to setup a new "personal" password.
