Update Secondary DNS on CUCM

I need to update the secondary DNS servers on my CM cluster running 10.5.1. I am only changing the secondary DNS address.

For the pub, will I need to go through the PLM unreg/rereg step? Will this be disruptive in anyway to the subscribers?

No, there is no longer any license MAC which depends on the network config, your PLM should have a static MAC to prevent changes from affecting licenses.

If I recall correctly, it might have to restart the NIC for this change, but that will be all, and will be quick.

All except CCX, that still has the MAC licence jobbie.

Not sure why Cisco would change it for CUCM, CUPS, CUC but not CCX?

Found out the hard way and had to get TAC to rehost the license for me.
