Upgrading UnityCxn 1.2 to 7.1

From the odering guide it says that the part number UNCN7-VER-VUP-K9= is for upgrading Unity Connection 1.X and above to 7.x

However, looking at the Product Upgrade Tool it states that this part number is for Unity Connection 2.x and above upgrades to 7.x. I have a customer running 1.2 and need to upgrade them to 7.1. Will the above part number do it or do i need to upgrade 1.2 to 2.x then 7.x. I know i can upgrade 1.2 to 8.X as I have done it before. The part number descriptions are confusing me.

I think you are ok. Look at the help for COBRAS Export for Unity Connection 1.X

I just went from 1.3 to 7.1 this weekend.

Just a FYI on this....

No issues going from Unity Cxn to 1.2 to 7.1 using the above part number.
