Use Cisco UC560 as simple MGCP srst voice gateway...

Hi,

we are considering a customer migration from UCME to UCM 10.5.

In addition to verify IP phone compatibility, we would like to re-use previous UCME 8.6 (running on UC560 router)

as a standard MGCP voice gateway for UCM cluster.

And, if possible, enable also srst functionality.

Can we convert this uc560 router into MGCP voice gateway?

How can we add it into UCM vg devices?

That would not be supported by Cisco, the UC500 are not a GW for CUCM, you might try it, but we won't support that. As the platform was only meant to be H.323/SIP, I doubt you'll even find MGCP commands.
