Hello,

My client has a VG248 that he is currently using for fax and he is migrating to SIP Trunking solution, My question is that is VG248 supported with SIP?

Any supporting document with the answer will be appreciated.

Thanks, Kind Regards

Shabbir

No changes needed on vg248 to send calls via SIP trunk from CUCM...just make sure no one tries

to do t38 fax relay...that will not work.

Hey,

Thanks for your reply.

So if that's the case then if I replace my PRI circuits with SIP trunks, do I need additional config on my VG248 to make the fax work? Cuz technically for CUCM it's just a skinny endpoint and actually call SIP is SIP is done on the CUCM side.

Thanks again
