VMO 4.2(1) Outlook Problems on WinXP Workstations

Hi.

Currently customer have VMO 4.2(1) deployed and was working fine. Suddenly some users are not able to access the VIEWMAIL features from the Microsoft Outlook and also when opening the wav file WMP is invoked instead of the Viewmail Plugin. Before everything was working as expected. Customer unnistall the viewmail application and re-install it again but same behavior. This is happening only with a couple of users.

Actually on one user workstation there is no Viewmail options under microsoft outlook but if he open a voicemail message the VMO plugins opens instead of the WMP.

Any ideas?

It could be that vmo is disabled in Outlook. Go to the machine that has the client on it, open Outlook, go to 'help' and choose 'disabled items'. Look for vmo and enable it if it's disabled. Hope this helps.
