Hi All,
We are migrating CUCM-8.6 from MCS to UCS Platform using below procedure.
1. Take a backup of CUCM-8.6 installed on MCS server
2. Fresh install CUCM-8.6 on MCS Server
3. Restore Backup taken in step 1 on the CUCM-8.6 on UCS server
Existing CUCM on MCS Server has below web-security parameters.
admin:show web-security
[
Version: V3
Serial Number: 7E1C671F9E31B9B5375F57C90CBF7153
SignatureAlgorithm: SHA1withRSA (1.2.840.113549.1.1.5)
Issuer Name: L=MUMBAI, ST=MAHARASHTRA, CN=CUCMPUB.syndrometech.net, OU=COLLABORATION, O=SYNDROME TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., C=IN
We have configured Fresh CUCM on UCS Server with below web-security parameters during initial configuration.
admin:show web-security
[
Version: V3
Serial Number: 7E1C671F9E31B9B5375F57C90CBF7153
SignatureAlgorithm: SHA1withRSA (1.2.840.113549.1.1.5)
Issuer Name: L=TELANGANA, ST=HYDERABAD, CN=CUCMPUB.syndrometech.net, OU=COLLABORATION, O=SYNDROME TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., C=IN
Is it it OK to have difference in this parameters. Will we be able to restore MCS backup on UCS successfully ?
Is there any other impact of these parameters.

The DRS guide explains what parameters need to match between the source and target cluster for restore to work.
I'm not sure you'll keep that value after the restore, as the certificates will be restored, and that information will not match.
I believe you'll also restore your old web-security settings, and will need to re-generate the certs if you need to use new values.
