A meeting occurred last week where there were well over 100 dial-in participants. As the host had his “my account”- “What indicator do you want to hear when someone enters or exists the audio conference” set to “announce Name” this became very intrusive.
The 2nd meeting in this series will occur on June 23rd. If we change the setting to “no tone” (prior to this 2nd occurrence beginning) will this then take affect? (Or do we need to cancel the meeting, ensure the setting is no tone, and then re-schedule)?
Please help!

Hi Ray,
I don't have a CWMS up in my lab currently but i would suggest the following. Create a test meeting for today with existing settings and then make a change in the "What indicator do you want to hear when someone enters or exists the audio conference" setting. Then check if the new setting is applied to the test meeting. This will confirm if it applies to meetings that are already configured.

Thanks Manish!
I did try as suggested and found that even though I changed the annoucment settign (after i shceduled the meeeting) this did not reflect when I joined the meeting.

So it looks from the test that the setting change does not apply to already configured conferences.
