Hello,
since Endpoint software version 9.12 the webex codec pro supports more then 3 cameras.
Is this a software only based feature so i can update my codec (before 04/2020) or is this a hardware based feature?
Thanks for your help

You can add 3 cameras but for camera control you need to bring a switch in between. AFAIK its not software based.

Thanks for your reply,
thanks for the infomation with the switch
but there is one more question
in the administration guide
codec-pro-administrator-guide-ce95.pdf (cisco.com) is on page 45 mentioned that only three cameras are supported
and in the
codec-pro-administrator-guide-ce912.pdf (cisco.com) is on page 68 mentioned that cameras can be conected to HDMI Port 1-5
and in the camera guide Cisco Quad Camera, Precision 60, SpeakerTrack 60, PTZ-12, and PTZ 4K Camera Guide on page 31 is mentioned that up to 7 cameras are supplied.
so im a little bit confused. can i update my system from Collaboration Endpoint software version 9.5 to the Collaboration Endpoint software version 9.12 or higher to get the support of 7 cameras or do i need a new codec.
I know if it is hardware based I need a new codec
Thank's for your help and greetings
