Hello Experts,
We currently have Jabber softphone (Jabber for VDI) deployed as end points to support our agents and there is a need to replace Jabber with WebEx for VDI. I would like to understand if WebEx can work just as Jabber (with same configurations and functionality) or any additional configuration / connectivity to WebEx cloud would be required to function? We don't have any WebEx meeting / messaging requirements. Is Unified CM calling the right replacement deployment model if we need to replace Jabber while keeping rest of the infra as it is or is there any other deployment model ?

For what reason do you need to replace Jabber with Webex. FYI This is btw how you write Webex, there is no capital E used anymore.

Hi Roger, thank you for the correction. I will make sure to write webex going forward. The main reason for replacement is due to the compatibility with new VDI platform. Jabber is not supported and hence we decided to migrate to webex. Is there any phone only mode deployment available for webex ?
