Hello,
Can someone tell me what teradataordbms on CUCM is for? I thought Informix was used, but when port scan a CUCM publisher, this comes up.
8002/tcp open teradataordbms
I would like to know more but can't seem to find much information on this.

My guess on this is that your port scanner is just putting a service that is defined by IANA (http://www.iana.org/assignments/service-names-port-numbers/service-names-port-numbers.xhtml?&page=106) to use port 8002/TCP, which in this case is teradataordbms.

I rephrased the google search and found http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/port/8_0_2/portlist802.html .
So, apparently, this is a port that's used for intracluster communications. That's too bad, I was hoping it was something else.
Thanks for the reply, ndehmer, I appreciate it.
