When will Unity start shipping with Exchange 2003

When will Unity start shipping with Exchange 2003 for the message store? Will the license key sent with Unity for the message store work for Exchange 2003?

Cisco isn't going to support Exchange 2003 in a voice mail only configuration until a couple very critical memory leaks in the Exchange 2003 System Manager have been resolved by Microsoft. We have seen several cases come in where the customer/partner has installed Exchange 2003 with voice mail only and the message those customers are getting is that they are not supported.

Providing a stable and reliable system is our highest priority. Until we can do that with Exchange 2003 and voice mail only we will continue to support only Exchange 2000.

What about VMO with off box message store? 2003 ok?

Nope. It is only supported for UM because UM subscribers, when checking messages, generally go around the code path which has the leak.

I can't stress enough how critical it is to not use Exchange 2003. For VMO it isn't stable and it isn't supported.

Has this changed at all yet? Is Unity 4.0(5) VMO supported with VMO?

I would like to know this too, as we are running a new install (cutting over today,) and we are running with Exchange 2003 with Unity 4.0(5) while we are setup with UM, we are not using it at the current time. It is for future use, and access will only be with the TUI, except for troubleshooting with the web outlook.
