adding calling name in CUCM to inbound calls

Hello All,  There is a requirement from customer running v12.x of cucm.

is there a way to define something in the CUCM system/config – so that if we receive 10 digit callerid (without caller name being sent) – that we could display name + phone number on the phones.

So example – John Doe calls in from 201-553-2447 – and the inbound call comes in just as 2015532447.

Could there be something defined in cucm so that when the call rings on a phone it shows up with John Doe and possibly with the phone number too?

If this isn’t something we can do directly in CUCM – possible to do with 3rd party software like Imagicle, etc?

CM do not have anything native that can do that. Likely there are a few 3:d party options for this, but none that I have direct knowledge about.

As Roger said, this is not out of the box. There are several 3rd party directories that do this, click on Explore the marketplace in the below link, and then you can search for directory and while choosing collaboration in the drop-downs to get several options, reach out directly to the developer for further information.
