Hi everyone.
Not sure if anyone experienced similar issue, but it becomes so frustrating and I am not sure where to look for help.
So we are converting one of our analogue lines to IP phone. We are running ShoreTel here, so SIP profile has been created ATA 191 initial configuration went smooth and device is registered.
I am able to make calls from this phone and to this phone, however, when I try dial in hunt group number from this phone, once call picked up it hangs right away. I tried to capture it and I can see 603 Decline.
Is there any settings on ATA device that preventing me to make calls to hunt group?
I reached out to our Shortel guys but it has been almost a week and nothing but silence from them... ugh.
Thank you

If you are connecting the ATA to a Shoretel PBX, can you confirm that you have the multiplatform model (ATA191-3PW-K9) and not the Cisco-only model (ATA191-K9)?

Hi, Maren.
Yes, this is correct - we are using ATA191-3PW-K9

I've worked on a bunch of PBXes over the years, but not a Shoretel. Would it be possible to post (or PM) a trace file from the PBX to see what it is doing when the hunt call is made?

Good, Maren.
Once the call is made:
Source (my ATA phone) sending the request
That looks like:
Request: NOTIFY sip: (hunt group extension)@ip x.x.x.x | , with Sipfrag(SIP/2.0 180 Ringing)
Status: 200 OK |
Status: 603 Decline
Let me know if you actually need file.
Thank you

I'd need the file to see the decision-making process. Perhaps you can attach it to a PM to me rather than posting it publicly.
If so, please indicate the DN and MAC of the ATA, and the DN of the hunt pilot so I know what to dig for.
