Inbound call transformation/translation

Running CUCM 11 for this test.

I've configured a simple translation pattern so that a call comes in a SIP trunk destined for 61299990000 which is translated to 1999.  This works fine and the call comes through to my extension.  What I'm trying to accomplish, if possible, is to see the 61299990000 number in my CDRs, but I only see 1999 in all the relevant fields (originalCalledPartyNumber, finalCalledPartyNumber, originalCalledPartyPattern, finallCalledPartyPattern, lastRedirectDN and lastRedirectingPartyPattern).  I was expecting to see 61299990000 in the originalCalledPartyNumber and/or originalCalledPartyPattern but I'm not.

Hunting around in my Call Manager Service Parameters, I saw options for "Show Line Group Member DN" in finalCalledPartyNumber CDR Field and "Show Line Group Member Non Masked DN in finalCalledPartyNumber CDR Field" and the description for the latter mentions:

"Valid values specify True (if the service parameter "show line group member DN in finalcalledPartyNumber CDR field" is set to True, the finalCalledPartyNumber in CDRs will show the DN of the phone without being applied by the external phone number mask that answered the call)"

Default values are false so I changed both to true and it didn't make any difference.  Perhaps I'm reading the above wrong and it doesn't apply to inbound calls or means something completely different.  I also suspected that I may be seeing those values in my CDRs because I'm doing a translation and it's changing all the numbers before the CDR is generated.  I thought that I may need to configure a called party transformation but no matter what I try I can't seem to get this working.  I keep getting back 404 messages when I try to call that number.  I've tried just putting the external number as the external phone number mask in the phone DN, creating a called party transformation pattern with the pattern set to 61299990000 and the called party transformation mask as 1999, and a combination of the two.  I'm thinking that the external phone number mask is really just for outbound calls, but I'm at the point of just guessing everything now because I really don't know.

The ultimate goal is to be able to see the non-translated called party number on inbound calls in my CDRs.  How I achieve that is not overly important at this stage.  I have to admit that I'm fairly new to CUCM so I may be missing something very simple.

Thanks Manish,

I feared this might be the case with translations.  Just thought there might be a way to achieve the same outcome with transformations, but I don't know enough about UCM to work out how (or if).
