I need to send a message to a single phone and then acknowledge the message from the phone. The phone can be addressed by the IP address or any other way.
We use CCM 4.3.
What is the easiest way of doing this? Any programming examples or comments appreciated.

What are you sending? Text? In the Phone SDK (http://developer.cisco.com,
go to the Unified Communications section) there is an application called
push2phone. You can use this to send text to the phone. There is also a
sample application which you can use to send text messages to phones. It is
just a concept app and isn't really ready for prime time. It is in the
Phone SDK readme. The Phone SDK is a bit old, but the concepts still work.
If you are looking for something robust then you may want to check out any
of the developing partners that provide paging applications. Most of the
time, these paging developers package text and audio paging into the same
app. This makes sense in a way as the moving parts are very similar. An
app I like is Cistera. But the old school Informacast can do this. As can
others.
HTH.

At a nursing home we use SMS messages to call for attention. We would like to send text (and audio) messages to 7925 phones instead and then acknowledge the messages with the phone.
Is it possible to acknowledge messages with the push2phone?
