Hello,
Is there any way to connect 10 GbE over RJ-45 copper in UCS C-servers? I've seen there's a dual-port 10 GbE Broadcom adapter in Cisco portfolio, with SFP+ slots, but I don't see any SFP 10GBASE-T transceiver available in Cisco product list...I've found a Broadcom part number (BCM8481) which I believe is exactly what I'm looking for, but am not 100% sure.
Any inputs on that?
Many thanks,

The Broadcom BCM8481 is not supported in the C-Series Server platform.
Here is a list of supported adaptors:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10493/products_data_sheets_list.html
Its also worth mentioning that 10GBaseT does not support FCOE reliably due to a high Bit Error Rate issue, so any 10GBaseT adaptor would be purely just for ethernet.

So, what are the options if I want 10GBASE-T connectivity in UCS C-servers??

Dani,
Just to add the power usage, latency and heat generated for 10GBaseT is considerably higher than using optics or twinax copper. Power and Usage are increasingly driving up datacenter costs, so ensure this is factored into your equation.
See the chart below for the details.

No SFP+ 10G Transceiver available.
This is due to physical limitation.
A media converter could be an alternative solution.

There is a switch WS-C3850-48XS-S. you need to connect the server through a 10Gb sfp transceiver using a twisted pair (RJ 45) category 6 or 7 with this switch. Found only such SNR-SFP + T. Is it possible? Or is there some other SFP transceiver? Give, please the link.
