I'm trying to get to 256GB RAM on the B200M3 using the smart play bundles. These bundles either include: 1.64 GB RAM (8x8GB), 2. 128GB RAM (16x8GB). The challenge I am having is that the CCW tools leads me to beleive two things:1. Flling up all banks and channels will decrease RAM speed to 1066, 2. I cannot mix the 8GB and 16GB DIMMS.
I do not want to throw away modules or suffer a perfromace hit to get to the 256GB mark.
Any insight would be helpful.
Thanks.

Scott,
Hope this helps a little:
Memory Performance:
•When mixing DIMMs of different densities, the highest density DIMM goes in slot 0 then in descending density (ex: A0: UCS-MR-1X162RY-A , A1: UCS-MR-1X082RY-A, A2: UCS-MR-1X041RY-A)
•Your selected CPU(s) can have some affect on performance
