C240M5 Datacenter 2016 S2D

Any idea how to get S2D configured on here? Get-Disk is showing all the spinning drives as RAID and it looks like they need to have the BusType of SAS. Drives are Seagate ST2000NX0433 2TB drives connected to a Cisco 12G Modular Raid Controller with 4GB cache. I have tried to install drivers from the ICO available for this model and ran the Cisco Driver Installer. Server came configured from Cisco. It shows up in device manager as manufactured by Avago and the driver version is 7.701.04.00.

I'm not super savvy on MS S2D, but if it's like most hyper-converged type solutions, the storage devices (not counting actual OS location) usually want to be HBA/jbod,, or raid controller with pass through mode.

I would check to confirm if the raid controllers drive settings are jbod, unconfigured good, raid0, etc for each drive.  If they are in raid 0 then you would definitely need the MegaRaid driver.  If drives are in jbod mode, it may have a generic sata type driver is use for each disk and megaraid for the OS (assuming raid 1 at raid controller level)

(I will need to confirm this).
