I'm unable to reach my CIMC, however my hosts are up and running and I'm not seeing any issues with regards to network connectivity. Does anyone know why?

Hi Henry,
Most Likely the CIMC memory leak bug which is located here;
https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCun88303/?reffering_site=dumpcr
The OS is not affected so it is possible to migrate your VMs to different hosts. Then put the host into maintenance mode and power cycle the server physically (Pull the power cable off).
After around 5 minutes put the power cable back. Once you have your CIMC access again, please upgrade your server firmware to the fixed version.
If you have any other questions please let me know.

can someone recommend which version to upgrade will be compatible with these characteristics ?
model: UCSC-C220-M3L -
FW ver: 2.0(3d)
Standalone/appliance
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2643 0 @ 3.30GHz
I am unable to use the Matrix reference tool as there is no VM on the UCS.
https://ucshcltool.cloudapps.cisco.com/public/
the command:
*cat /proc/version
displays that the kernel in use is:
Linux Version 4.4.3(ubuntu@os-oakx88-oak-release)(gcc version 4.9.2(GCC))
but there is no OS or at least i am unable to find it via CLI
