Hi Team,

I tried to setup Intersight mode from initial configuration dialog.

However, after erase-configuration from UCSM, mode selection was not shown up.

UCSTEST-A(local-mgmt)# erase configuration
All UCS configurations will be erased and system will reboot. Are you sure? (yes /no):yes

Removing all the configuration. Please wait....

-----------

2022 Sep 30 03:48:08 switch %$ VDC-1 %$ %ASCII-CFG-2-CONF_CONTROL: System ready
UCSM image signature verification successful

---- Basic System Configuration Dialog ----

This setup utility will guide you through the basic configuration of
the system. Only minimal configuration including IP connectivity to
the Fabric interconnect and its clustering mode is performed through these steps.

Type Ctrl-C at any time to abort configuration and reboot system.
To back track or make modifications to already entered values,
complete input till end of section and answer no when prompted
to apply configuration.

Enter the configuration method. (console/gui) ? console

Enter the setup mode; setup newly or restore from backup. (setup/restore) ?

BTW, this FI was not connected with any chassis and version is 4.0(1a).

Thanks a lot.

Hi @bradywang ,

From https://intersight.com/help/saas/supported_systems

The minimum supported firmware version for Intersight Managed Mode is 4.1(3)

You'll need to set it up with standard UCSM, do the upgrade then begin again.

Forum Tips: 1. Paste images inline - don't attach. 2. Always mark helpful and correct answers, it helps others find what they need.

You'll probably need to upgrade the infrastructure first in UCSM mode to 4.1.3+
