Hi there,
We have ordered Cisco C220 M4 servers with Cisco UCS 12G SAS Modular RAID Controller. Also we have ordered Cisco 12Gbps SAS 2GB FBWC Cache.
According "Cisco UCS C220 M4 Server Installation and Service Guide", I can config these RAID levels:0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60. But I cannot do it.
While server was downloading I pressed ctrl+R and MageRAID Utility appeared. Here I cannot create Virtual Drive, this option is unavailable.
In Advanced Options I can write Activation Key, that should allow me create RAID.
What is this Activation Key?
Can I config RAID without it?
Thanks in advance.

Greetings.
You do not need to add an activation key for those raid capabilities.
Can you post a screen shot from your CIMC web interface, Storage tab for this controller, and list the physical drive view? See if you can generate a virtual drive from unused drives link.
Also, it may be possible the drives got enabled in jbod mode. If this is the case you will need to revert them to unconfigured good, before you can add them to a virtual Drive/VD
Thanks,
Kirk...
