Cisco UCS and ESX 5.1 - Set Speed/Duplex Settings?

Hi,

i've installed a new UCS Pod with a couple of B200M3 and 420M3, each Blade have one VIC1240 and one VIC1280. After Installing ESX 5.1 on the Blades i can see in the Networking pane of the vsphere client that the discovered VNICs by vmware have different Speeds. 20Gbs Full Duplex for the vnics terminated to the VIC1240 and 40Gbs Full Duplex for the vnics to the VIC1280. I know this Settings come from the different connections of the VICs to the Backplane/IOM but should i set the Speed in ESX to 10Gbs or should i leave the discovered Speed.

The only possible setting ESX is 10Gbs, there is no 20Gbs or 40Gbs Option available. What is here the best-practice?

What is the speed of the ports on your upstream switch ? We have B200 M3 blades and we get the same 20 GB .I leave it auto with no issues . We have our uplinks port channeled.
