Cisco UCS Blade discover failed.

Can some one help ?? I have UCS version 2.2 1d, I have recently added a new blade and turn up with following message. End Point unavailable Waiting for Bios Post Completion Information from IBMC

make sure no profile is associated with this blade and do (one by one with a couple of minutes in between) 

1) CMOS reset 

2) CIMC reset 

3) Re-acknowledge the blade. 

If neither of those helps open up a TAC case.

I have tried already with no luck, always stops at 55% with the same message. 

Open up a TAC case, someone should review the logs. 

What is the server model ?  Have you confirmed that your server's firmware is what it should be? If you are not sure how to check go to the equipment tab, then packages, right click on the package your server is supposed to run and choose "check conformance"if there is anything red for the server in question, be sure you check that component's firmware and downgrade/upgrade it to make it match...

If your server is getting stuck during BIOS, it is very likely there is a mismatch somewhere, which needs to be fixed...

 

Since you did not mentioned what type of server this is, it is hard to give you more info... please check the above and if the issue is still present, let us know what firmware you are running and the hardware model...
