Need you expert comments on syslog part !! Syslog server configuration locally and remotely.
What i understood from local destinations, if "enable" a syslog file will be created on both the FIs. Size of each file will not exceeded 4194304 bytes.
Remote Destinations, if "enable" a syslog file will be created on 3 servers with up to three external logs.
Did i understood concept correctly??
Any link which explain in details like "facility" and local 0 to 7? How can i relate them any example will be a great help.
One more thing "Global Fault Policy" under ""settings". Is this global policy applies on both Local & Remote Destinations??
Means to say that Alerts Clear action and Retention configuration will be same for both Local & Remote syslog files.
