Connect a UCS-FI-6454 to Chassi 9508

Hi,

I need to connect a UCS-FI-6454 to Chassi 9508 (IO module UCSX-I-9108-25G)

The Fabric interconnects don't seem to know the chassi, for "show chassis " command I get this output  - "Identity Unestablishable Acknowledged".

Is this the way to connect the FIs and the chassi ?

It sounds like you have the 6454 and 9508 in UCSM Mode?  As of today, it'll need to be in Intersight Managed Mode (IMM) to discover the X-series.

If you are still running in UCS Manager Managed Mode, upgrading to 4.3(2b) or newer (which supports UCS-X chassis 9508 and UCS-X IFMs), will make the IFMs and chassis discover successfully.

i have same question. does it make a difference if I connect 1/1 and 1/2 to fabA or do i use 1/1 and 1/5 to fabA
