Hi @plp_pnlr ,

You asked:

Can I buy to Cisco just the softwares for hyperflex to make my existing UCS server to HCI?

The sad answer is definately NO.

But it is a bit more complicated than that.  Cisco bought the company that developed the software (Springpath) a few years back, and put a lot of effort into fine-tuning the software/hardware combination to get the best performance.

IF you were able to use the software on regular UCS, it's unlikely that you'd get the same performance as a purpose built setup.

But in this ever-increasing world of cloud based automation, Cisco is under incresing pressure to release a software-only version of Hyperflex.

So the answer may change in the future.
