CSCwn38768 - TPM status changes from Enabled to Disabled ...

This seems so typical for Cisco support lately the workaround is

Workaround: Manually change the BIOS token to Enabled.  What does this even mean if TPM is already enabled?  If I have UCS Central managed hosts using a service profile template, how do I change the BIOS token to Enabled if it is already enabled?

I get it we should use Intersight but the migration to that from Central in a brownfield scenario in a large enterprise environment is just not feasible!

Anyone?

gDay @ShawnPD46 It basically means to reapply the BIOS policy so the TPM token refreshes, even if it already shows enabled. In UCS Central, just toggle TPM Support off - on and re-associate the profile. It forces a sync of the BIOS setting. And yeah, agreed also migrating to Intersight isn’t easy in large brownfield setups.

hope it helps!

If this post solved your problem, kindly mark it as Accepted Solution. Much appreciated!

Oddly this did not work, but what did work and I have no idea why was to unbind from template, re ack then bind the the service profile back to the template.

Again no idea how that is different or why it worked but at least moving forward again.

Thank you for the suggestion!
