Our new 6332-16UP FI's came with firmware 4.0.4c and we'd like to downgrade the infrastructure to 3.2.3g to match the rest of our environment. Any concerns or caveats with this approach?

Well, 3.23 is supported on those FIs, just make sure your supported blades or rack servers including CPUs are all supported at the lower version you are considering downgrading to.

Usually 3.22 version is the highest 'minimum' requirement I think is saw for some components/servers at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/notes/CiscoUCSManager-RN-3-2.html#reference_93EC529654A14701B98253AC3C22A28C
