Greetings.
So the typical reasons why a whole channel will not show/recognize dimms are:
- Unsupported DIMMs (are the PIDs listed in memory section from https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/c220m3-sff-specsheet.pdf)
- Not adhering to memory population rules
- When single- and dual-rank DIMMs are populated for 2DPC, always populate the dual-rank
DIMM in the blue DIMM slot and the single-rank DIMM in the black DIMM slot - Larger capacity DIMMs go in lower numbered slot (i.e. D1 larger capacity DIMM. Smaller DIMM in slot D2) if mixing sizes.
- When single- and dual-rank DIMMs are populated for 2DPC, always populate the dual-rank
- Is server running up to date FIrmware

If you swap H1/H2 with D1/D2 do you get the same results?

So it seems to be more of a slot issue, D1,D2 not recognising anything. Does SEL log show any alerts/errors for those slots?
