Jeff Silbermann and others!
I am installing UCSQL which sounds very interesting with respect to UCS Central for extracting miscellaneous data by API. I am running Windows 7 and have succeeded installing the prerequisite packages lxml, pyparsing and pycrypto, but have challenges installing the crucial generateDS on Windows. Do You have guidance for this?
Best regards
Jesper

Guidance would be to use a Linux host. UCSQL was never tested/qualified on a Windows platform.
Best bet would be RedHat/CentOS version 6.4 or 6.5.
Also, please note that there is now a UCS Central Powertool in Beta:
Cisco UCS Central PowerTool (Beta Release 0.9.6)
which is probably the best bet for the long term.
Best Regards,
-Jeff
