Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade firmware on a C240M3 by booting from an HUU ISO.
The HUU boots successfully and performs an audit of current firmware versions. It finds CIMC and BIOS but not the 1225 VIC card installed.
I've tried HUU ISO versions 2.0.3f and 2.0.13n but neither sees the card, despite the fact that the documentation says it is supported.
For reference, the current VIC card firmware is 2.2(2e). Is the jump to the version in the above HUUs (4.1 2e) too great? ie does it need to go through an interim release?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Greetings.
So the VIC is actually functional currently? The existing CIMC currently shows it in inventory, under the Cisco VIC cards list?
What overall CIMC/HUU level is the server currently running?
Also, what PCI-E slot is the VIC 1225 installed in?
Thanks,
Kirk...

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
To answer your questions:
So the VIC is actually functional currently?
- Yes
The existing CIMC currently shows it in inventory, under the Cisco VIC cards list?
- Yes (via UCS manager, the CIMC port in not cabled)
What overall CIMC/HUU level is the server currently running?
- CIMC 1.57(c), VIC 1225 2.2(2e)
- I'll confirm in a later mail
Also, what PCI-E slot is the VIC 1225 installed in?
- Slot 2
Note we want to use the HUU ISO as a previous attempt to update via UCS manager 'bricked' the VIC card.
Thanks,
Kirk...
