I got the issue in Hyper-V 2012R2 server on C240M4 Server

Im on UCS C240M4 server installed Intel Xeon E5-2699 v 3 CPU,  I can see the CPU os 18 cores but just only have 32 Logical Processors ? but it should be 36 Logical Processors, do I need to disable or enable something to got Max Processors ? As you can see the attachment. On the other hand, how to Enable the SecondLevelAddressTranslatinoExtensions on BIOS ? coz I can't see and option can choose it ?

Hi Eric

Not sure, but it might be related to COD (Cluster on Die)

https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12434181/esxi-cpu-error-b200-m4

Go into the BIOS settings of the M4 Server and manually disable COD (Cluster on Die) in the Advanced Tab.

This cannot be done from the Service Profile on the B200 M4 since this is an exclusive feature and does not appear in the BIOS Policy.

On the advanced tab you have to go into the QPI settings to see the COD Feature

Walter.

Wakter Dey,

But this is C240M4 server ? Can change in CIMC ?

Eric
