Hello,
Someone can tell me what this operation really do and if there are any perturbation on a chassis in production?
Thanks.

Thanks, yes, the process looks like exactly the "discover" option called in UCSM.
But the impact...

Hello Jerome,
The Rediscover operation is designed to initiate both the chassis discovery process and the subsequent chassis inventory process. This procedure is typically performed after relocating a blade from one chassis to another but can also be applicable when hardware is replaced or moved.
When a blade is inserted, the chassis should automatically conduct a thorough discovery and rebuild its inventory for Intersight to Display. In the uncommon event that this automatic process fails, the Rediscovery function within Intersight can manually trigger the inventory rebuilding process.
Importantly, this operation will not disrupt any ongoing traffic.
For more detailed information about this function and other related operations, please refer to the Intersight guide:
Intersight Server Actions
"Rediscover—Rediscover rebuilds the server inventory and internal connectivity. The operation can be used following any module replacements, additions, or removals, as well as when a server is relocated to another slot, chassis, or replaced. This operation will not disrupt any ongoing traffic."
