Dear all
I found C240 model is compatible with NVidia cards, but what I already have is C220 model.
C240 emphasize the NVidia in it, but C220 does not. though C220 also have PCIe x16 Lane cards as NVidia fit in x16 Lane.
Can you experts confirm me if C220 can support NVidia or only C240 does, and if not, why?
My thanks are in advance.

see table 11 UCS Storage Accelerators
in the specs of C220
http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/c220m3-sff-specsheet.pdf
Where I can't see any Nvidio card, only Fusion-io.

thanks Mr. Walter
We can take an assumption that C220 has no compatibility list for NVidia cards, because no sign of it in C220 documents. But I need to prove technically why?

Hi
If it's in the specification, it has been tested and certified; in case of any problem, you can open a TAC case, and they have to solve your problem.
You can try yourself, assuming there are proper PCI slots and power available. Also not clear, if you need Bios changes.
I believe there is no technical reason; it is simply a timing and product marketing issue.
Walter.
