Customer updated to 2.2.7 on a B200-M4 running Windows Server 2012 R2 off a local disk.

Since this upgrade KVM console just shows a blue screen (not a crash blue screen) (see attachment)

PS

KVM and CIMC reset didn't fix the issue

Greetings.

This doesn't happen to be a Windows Core install does it?

I have seen a few cases with similar issues where the core console output didn't seem to like the video card/vKVM.

Kirk...

Thanks Kirk !

I have to findout ! Meanwhile, has there be a solution to this problem ?

Walter.

It's a Windows Server 2012 R2 standard Installation, not Windows Core !

Any hint is appreciated !

In the Core cases, I believe it actually required a video driver update to windows.  Think we also saw this when the screen saver kicked in.

You may want to open a TAC case to get this looked at.

It is interesting this happened after a firmware update (looks like both BIOS and CIMC) had updates with the 2.27 blade bundle release.

Does a blade restart (OS reboot) change any of the output?

Thanks,

Kirk...

Where can I find the proper up to date video driver ? for B200-M4 it is Matrox G200e ?

ucs-bxxx-drivers-windows.2.2.7a simply says: Matrox G200e integrated with the OS !
