Migrating from Fabric Interconnect 6332 to 6454

Hi everyone,

I have a customer that is planning to migrate from Fabric Interconnect 6332 to 6454. And upgrading the existing IOM on 5108 Chassis from 2304 to 2408.

From the Cisco official migration guide, it stated that 6454 is not intended to replace 6332. Just wanna check if there's a guide on the procedure to migrate from Fabric Interconnect 6332 to 6454

 - Perhaps this guide can provide hints (too) : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/ucs-manager/GUI-User-Guides/Fabric-Interconnect-Migration/4-0/b_Migrating_from_6200_to_6400/b_Migrating_from_6200_to_6400_chapter_010.html

Hi @Mark Elsen ,

Thanks for sharing this article. I have read through the guide.  Cisco stated that its 6454 is not an intended replacement for 6332, Cisco has not tested or published a plan for the migration. My worries are, will the synchronization of the configuration and database/state information from the primary UCS Fabric Interconnect go through smoothly during the migration.

Thank you

Weiwen
